Moena and Fassa Valley

Your tourist destination: Moena and Val di Fassa in Trentino

Moena is located in the beautiful Val di Fassa, in the heart of the Dolomites, in the province of Trento, occupies the north-eastern end of Trentino, bordering the provinces of Bolzano (Alto Adige) and Belluno (Veneto), Natural Heritage of Humanity.

The Ladins of Val di Fassa have been able to keep this valley of incomparable beauty over time, extending for about 20 km and dotted with some of the most famous Dolomite peaks in the world: Roda di Vael, Catinaccio, Sassolungo, the Sella group, the Pordoi, the Monzoni, on which the Marmolada stands out unchallenged.

The Dolomites are the result of a long geological history, once a sea bed: it took more than 50 million years for them to "rise" and emerge.

Today they remind us of their ancient past by turning pink at sunset. This phenomenon, called "Enrosadira" was the inspiration for beautiful Ladin legends, handed down from father to son.

A mountain of culture, history and traditions, between sport and unspoiled nature.
