Via ferrata between trenches
The via ferrata dedicated to “Bepi Zac”, owner of the mountain hut Passo Le Selle (or “Bergvagabundenhütte”) at San Pellegrino, is a fascinating challenge for climbers, because of its lunar sight of rare beauty (with views of the Marmolada, Pal di San Martino, Col Margherita al Pelmo, Sassolungo/Langkofel, and the Latemar) as well as its history during World War I. The ridge of Costabella is a never-ending progression of caves, galleries, barricades, forts, barrack ruins, steps and wooden runways, which you will pass safely together with the Alpine guides.

Information & terms and conditions:
- Trekking – via ferrata: guided day tour on intermediate level with a maximum number of 5 participants; altitude difference ca. 700 m. Tour: Passo San Pellegrino (Costabella chairlift) – Passo Le Selle – Cima Campagnaccia – Cima Costabella – Forcella Ciadin – Passo San Pellegrino. The tour is organised on a weekly basis, every Monday. The participation is at an extra charge and offered in collaboration with Sport Check Point. When checking in to our hotel you will receive the voucher to purchase this tour at a discount (81 euros per person instead of 90 euros); please take this voucher with you to the office of Sport Check Point in Canazei by 12:00 o’clock of the day prior to the tour.
The offer does not include lift tickets and extras (packed lunch and possible other extras), which need to be purchased separately on site. In case of bad weather or less participants than the minimum required, you will be offered an alternative activity by Sport Check Point.
